If anyone hasn't had a chance to buy Girl Scout cookies, or, if you are in dire need of more... I have placed
a selection of our finest in each work room. They are $3.50 a box and they freeze well!!!! Sydney

Students and staff are invited to attend the All-School Art show tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come out
and see the work of our talented students displayed in the cafetorium. 

In memory of Rob Deubler, wristbands with his name and one of his famous mottos, "Tough Times Make
Tough People" are being sold in the office. Proceeds will go to melanoma research at the University of
Michigan. Cost is $2.00. 

The Van Wert County Youth Turkey Hunt will be held the weekend of April 17th. The hunt is open to
students ages 8-17. For more information, stop in the office. 

The current last day for the 2009/2010 school year is Tuesday, June 8th.

Extra yearbooks are available for $55.00.  Please contact Mrs. Callahan.

Spencerville Schools is offering an alert feature for school alerts such as delays, cancellations, early
dismissals, as well as potential problems that as a parent/student you should be aware of instantly. This
service is provided through the NOACSC and is of no cost to the school district; however, standard text
messaging fees may apply according to your cellular plan. You can sign up online for email and/or text
messages to your computer or cell phone at www.spencervillebearcats.com and click on the Alerts link. If

Kindergarten registration for the 2010/2011 school year is now open through March 19th on any scheduled
school day from 9:00 am to noon and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Eligible students must turn 5 on or before August
1st.  Please bring their official birth certificate, shot records, social security card, two proofs of residence
proving where the student lives in our district and any custody paperwork (if applicable).

Spring Picture Make-up Days: If a student was absent or did not purchase on picture day (forget their
money, changed their mind, etc.) Lifetouch will open the studio in Lima for spring picture make-ups on
Saturday, March 13th and Saturday, April 10th.  Please call the studio for an appointment at (419) 228-1111. 
The studio is located at 1900 Elida Rd. Lima.
